Green Deal and Solar PV
Mike: Today I am Going Green for Green with its initiative of Solar PV. The theme is sustainability, pretty vague word but essentially what it is, is about maximizing the resources that we’ve already taken from the earth. We’re going to be talking to some business leaders, specifically in the Ministry of Environment, with respect to what the Ministry’s doing to promote sustainability as well as looking at some people in your communities that are making a big difference in their own lives, making their homes and their families and their communities more sustainable.
We find ourselves in Kingston, Ontario. The reason being Kingston is laying claim to being Canada’s most sustainable city. We’ve been in Kingston before with Queen’s University/St. Lawrence College. A lot of offices for the Ministry of Environment.
I use a drying rack instead of putting my clothes in the dryer. Overall, there’s a commitment to try to live a more sustainable existence and be atpeace with this world. You know, some people think water is more important, some peoplethink food is more important, but overall, everybody is committed to living a betterand sustainable life with Solar PV.
